Churches—We need you!

Our residents love a Sunday morning service here at 9:30 a.m. with hymn singing and spiritual message (for 30 to 45 minutes).  Right now, one church comes  1-2x every month (First Baptist) and we are so grateful.  Usually one person plays the piano, others lead singing and another gives the message.  Perhaps you and your friends would be willing to come to QH after your early service or before your own later church service to lead the service here 1x a month, every other month or quarterly.  Please call Director of Activities Tami Linville  (513-897-6050, ext. 130)to discuss possibilities.  Thank you! … [Read more...]

What people say about Quaker Heights

Out of 92 facilities in the five counties (Warren, Butler, Clinton, Greene and Montgomery) from which Quaker Heights Care Community draws, 8 rated 90 or above in family satisfaction surveys conducted by the State of Ohio.  Quaker Heights is one of the 8, putting it in the top 8.6% of the five-county region. We draw residents, short-stay patients and outpatients from those counties because we are within a 10-20 minute drive of the four that adjoin Warren County and because of our very positive reputation.  The average score for the combined counties is 83.69.  The state average for a rated facility is 85.8.  County averages for Warren and Greene are above the state average. Quaker Heights Care Community also rated well above state averages in: admissions processes; resident activities; the … [Read more...]

Families Give Us High Marks in State Survey

WARREN COUNTY, JAN.29, 2015—QUAKER HEIGHTS’ 2014 Ohio Department of Aging Family Satisfaction Score was just announced---90.1.  This is the second highest over-all score for Warren County.  It exceeds the state average score of 85.8. This score is critical for our success:   1. We receive a quality incentive point that contributes to a higher government reimbursement when we are at or above the state average score.  2. These scores also help us promote our services to attract more residents, rehab patients and outpatients to ensure we can continue to prosper and serve citizens from multiple counties. We hope the families of residents, former post-hospital stay patients and others who know our caring first hand will share this good news with those you know. As a not-for-profit, … [Read more...]
